Ester Reed

Ester Laura Reed, 102, of Pleasanton, Kansas died Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at the Countryview Nursing Home, Prescott, Kansas. Ester was born February 10, 1902 in Leslie, Arkansas, the daughter of John and Samantha Hall Adams. She married Thomas E. Reed who preceded her in death in 1955. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church of Pleasanton. Preceding her in death were two daughters, Margaret Reed and Mary Heinz and nine brothers and sisters. Survivors include two sons; Tom Reed and wife, Annette of Pleasanton, Kansas and Ronald Reed, also of Pleasanton; one daughter, June Edgar of Austin, Texas; ten grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
