Elva married her beloved Truman on September 4, 1942 (who passed away January 21, 2001), and was a devoted mother to Dianne, (who passed away September 3, 1968) and to Richard (Rick). Elva graduated from Blue Mound High School in 1936, and also graduated Parsons Business College. Elva loved her bridge playing and enjoyed association with many area bridge players. Elva also enjoyed watching the birds that showed up on her bird feeders every morning. Throughout her life, she was a caring and giving person to her family and friends alike.
