Ellen Hester

Ellen Hester, age 93, Pleasanton, Kansas passed away Friday June 13, 2014. She was born in Linn County, Kansas on December 25, 1920 the daughter of George and Ruby Cantwell Cummins. She graduated from Pleasanton High School. She married Herb Hester September 9, 1942 in California. He preceded her in death on December 27, 1988. She worked at Braemoor Sewing Factory, Linn County Nutrition, and Dan Smith Rexall. Also preceding her in death, were a brother, Ralph and two grandsons, Randy and Robert. She is survived by three sons: Gerald, Wayne and Leon Hester, ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Graveside funeral service will be held 6 PM Monday, June 16, 2014 at the Littell Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4: 30 until departure for cemetery at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel.
