Ella Callahan

Ella Elizabeth Callahan, 89, of LaCygne,Kansas, died Monday, June 25, 2007 at Life Care Center, Osawatomie, Kansas. She was born April 24, 1918 in Swifton, Arkansas, the daughter of Wes and Mary Myers. She was employed as a Certified Nurse Aid in nursing homes prior to her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents and two daughters, Barbara Trull and Mary Alice Curtis. Survivors include four sons, Danny Ray Callahan of Ottawa, Kansas, Leon Callahan of LaCygne, Kansas, Roger Callahan of Osawatomie, Kansas and Jerry Callahan of Hammond, West Virginia; three daughters, Ina Lee McReynolds of LaCygne, Kansas, Vicki Reeves of Lebanon, Missouri and Carrie Ledom of Farlington, Kansas; twenty grandchildren and thirty-three great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 29, 2007 at the Calvary Baptist Church, LaCygne, Kansas. Vistitation will be from 7-8 PM, Thursday at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel. Contributions are suggested to the Life Care Center of Osawatomie. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, LaCygne.
