Eleanor M. (Preston) Keough age 92 of Adrian, Missouri died Tuesday September 4, 2012 at the Adrian Manor Nursing Home She was born on December 28, 1919 to Charles and Gertrude (Cunningham) Preston, One of 13 children. She married Thomas S. Keough on July 18, 1942. Eleanor was a homemaker and a very devoted mother of 6 children. She moved all over the US with her family until moving to Grandview, Missouri in 1954. After her husband retired they moved to Mound City, Kansas (Lake Chapparel) where she loved reading, her flowers, long walks and making jam for everyone. She loved visits from her children and grandchildren. In l992 they moved to Adrian where she ran the Adrian Motel in 1994 and 1997. In l999 they moved to Amsterdam until 2006 when she was forced to move to Adrian Manor. She was proceeded in death by her husband Thomas, son Thomas J. a baby girl , son-in-law and all her brothers and sisters She is survived by 3 sons, Donald of Vieques, Florida, John and wife Carla of Butler, Charles of Amsterdam, two daughters, Karen Siebers and husband Bob of Montana and, Janet Chambers of Amsterdam, Missouri, 16 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and lots of nieces and nephews. A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 Pm Saturday September 8, 2012 at the West Point Cemetery near Amsterdam, Missouri. The family suggests contributions to the West Point Cemetery and may be left in C/O the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory P.O. Box 304 La Cygne, Kansas 66040.
