EDWIN WALDMER Edwin Waldmer, 78, of Brooklyn, NY, died Monday, April 10, 2006 at Aurora Nursing Care in Aurora, Missouri. He was born July 16, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Jacob and Mary Russul Waldmer. He served in the United States Marines during World War II. Edwin retired from the United States Postal Department in Brooklyn, NY after 39 years. Preceding him in death was his mother & father. He is survived by two brothers; Harry Waldmer of Memphis, Tennessee and Herman Waldmer & wife, Dorothy of Aurora, Missouri; three nephews, John of Mound City, Kansas; Michael of Verona, Missouri and Bruce of Olathe, Kansas and one niece, Pamela of Fife, Washington; also several great nieces & nephews. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 13, 2006 at the Curry Cemetery, Mound City, Kansas.
