Edna Higginbotham

Edna Faye Higginbotham, age 62 of Blue Mound, Kansas died Saturday March 20, 2010 at her home in Blue Mound, Kansas. She was born on June 7, 1947 at Waynesville, Missouri, the daughter of Ray and Beulah Brock Pearce. She married Jack Higginbotham on December 20, 1963 at Morris, Kansas. Edna was a devoted house wife, loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by a brother David Perce. Survivors in include her husband; Jack of Blue Mound, four sons Gaylen, Danny and Shana, Jack and Tammy, and Andrew Higginbotham all of Blue Mound, Kansas, two daughters Paula Frank of Gardner, Kansas, and Teresa Gilmer and John of Excelsior Springs Missouri, seventeen grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Due to Edna's wishes she was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. The family suggests contributions to the Edna Faye Higginbotham Memorial fund and may be left in care of the Coffel Schneider Funeral Home P.O. Box J Mound City, Kansas.
