Edna Mae Edds, 94, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2011, at The Rose Estates in Overland Park, KS. Edna Mae was born July 17, 1916, in Bogue, KS to Antonia (Toni) and Adam (Ed) Holsman. She grew up on a farm near Pleasanton, KS. Edna Mae married Nathan A. Edds on October 27, 1943. A lifelong resident of Pleasanton, Edna Mae enjoyed her family and gardening. She is survived by her children, Marilyn Edds-England (Bill) of Ballwin, MO and her son, David Edds (Carol) of Overland Park, KS and three grandchildren, Jackson, Jeremy, and Charlotte Edds, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband (her passing occurred exactly sixteen years to the date after his), parents and siblings William, Clarence and Lulu. Visitation will be at 1 pm at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in Pleasanton on Monday, June 27, 2011, with a graveside service at 2 pm at the Pleasanton Cemetery.
