Doris Cochran

Doris Lucille Cochran, 91, of Pittsburg, Kansas, died Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Via Christi Village, Pittsburg, Kansas. She was born October 5, 1920 in Mound City, Kansas, the daughter of Giota Essington and Daisy Lucille Troth Brock. She was a graduate of Mound City High School. She was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Pittsburg, Kansas. Doris was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and George Brock and a sister, Lorene Brooksher. She is survived by a son, Ron Cochran of California. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the Schneider Funeral Home, Pleasanton Chapel, Pleasanton, Kansas. Friends may call from 1:00 PM until service time. Interment will be in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Mound City, Kansas.
