Dora Hamilton

Dora Agnes Hamilton, age 89 of Pleasanton, Kansas died Sunday July 15, 2007 at Prescott Country View Nursing Home in Prescott, Kansas. She was born August 21, 1917 in Hume, Missouri, the daughter of Ira and Theodosia Graham Blangy. Dora worked as a phone operator in Hume, Mo and later worked in housekeeping for the Bates County Hospital. She married David Hamilton in Mound City, Kansas on September 16, 1941. She was a member of the Pleasanton Presbyterian Church. Preceding her in death was her daughter Jane Ann Hamilton, one brother Harmon Blangy, and her four sisters May Laird, Ruth Shroyer, Nora Leneve, and Ruby Lee. Dora is survived by her husband David, her son Paul Hamilton, her daughter Linda Thomas, 5 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 2 P.M. Wednesday July 18, 2007 at the Pleasanton Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at the Richland Cemetery in Pleasanton, Kansas. Visitation will be Tuesday July 17, 2007 at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel in Pleasanton, Kansas from 7-8 P.M. Family suggests contributions to the Presbyterian Church.
