Don Glenn Eisman, age 76, LaCygne, Kansas passed away Monday July 30, 2012 at the Kansas City Hospice House. He was born on December 14, 1935 at Kansas City, Kansas the son of Adolph H. and Hattie M. Morgan Eisman. He worked as a union steel worker. Don was married to Patricia Barry. Three children were born to this union. He later married Connie Newlan. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers: Adolph, Gene, Nick, Edward, and twin brother Dean, and one sister, Harriett McGovern. He was a member of the Bonner Springs Christian Church, Masonic Lodge AF&AM #61, Scottish Rite Consistory, Mirza Shrine, Linn County Shrine Club, Order of Eastern Star Swan Chapter #311 and the United Steel Workers of America Local #4991. He also had owned a BBQ Restaurant and was Bonner Springs Fire Chief. He is survived by his wife Connie of the home, one son Scott Eisman, two daughters, Brenda Weldon and Kevin and Denise Nichols and Jim, one step son Randy Tinsley, one step daughter, Jewell Reavis and Butch, a sister, Helen Miller, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, four step grandchildren and one step great grandchild. Funeral service will be held 11 AM Thursday, August 2, 2012 at the Calvary Baptist Church, LaCygne, Kansas. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 AM to service at the Church.
