Dennis Gibbs

Dennis "D.C." Chancellor Gibbs, 23, of Nevada, Missouri, died Thursday, May 6, 2010. He was born November 4, 1986 in Merriam, Kansas, the son of Dennis and Lora Ann Dilley Gibbs. He was a 2005 graduate of Fort Scott High School and was self-employed in sales. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Xzandra Ann Marie Gibbs who died December, 2008; and his maternal grandfather, Donald Dilley who died in 1997. Survivors include his parents; Dennis & Lora Gibbs of Parker, Kansas; a son, Dennis Chancellor Dean Gibbs and Emily Dawn Maus, whom he considered his daughter, one brother, Mitchell Gibbs; two sisters, Ruby Austen and Stacey Gibbs; his paternal grandparents; Judith L. Gutierrez and Edward D. Gibbs; his maternal grandmother, Angelea Dilley; two nephews, Kolten Miller and Kolbie Austen and one niece, Kyleigh Kemp. Graveside memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 14, 2010 at the Walnut Grove Cemetery, Parker, Kansas. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Dennis Gibbs Children's Memorial.
