Delsie Dean "D. D." Harris age 84 of LaCygne, Kansas died Friday July 15, 2010 at the Inwood Crossing at Tomball, Texas. She was born on May 10, 1927 at Hinton, Oklahoma the daughter of George and Ivy Laola Canon Lambert. "D. D." married Nate Harris on May 4, 1956 at Rio Hondo, Texas he preceded her in death on March 14, 2000. She was a homemaker taking care of her four children; she was a member of the LaCygne United Methodist Church, the O.E.S. and was active with Nate in the Mirza Shrine. She was also preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by two sons; Alan Harris of Lenexa, Kansas, and Val Harris of Glendale, Arizona, two daughters; Cheryll Kratzberg of Cyprus, Texas, and Shelly Mitchell of Lenexa, Kansas, a brother Nick Lambert, a sister Mary Ann Bell, and seven grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday July 23, 2011 in the Oak Lawn Cemetery at LaCygne, Kansas. Friends and family can gather at 9: 30 am at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home and depart to the cemetery together. The family suggests contributions to the Oak Lawn Cemetery.
