DEBORAH BOWMAN Deborah Diane Bowman, 46, of Mound City, Kansas, died Wednesday, July 26, 2006. She was born May 5, 1960 in Fort Scott, Kansas, the daughter of Eugene Cox and Connie Spillman. She graduated from Jayhawk Linn High School in Mound City in 1978. Deborah married Rickey Bowman on February 11, 1978 at Blue Mound, Kansas. She worked as a receptionist for the Olathe Health Systems offices in LaCygne, Mound City and Garnett, Kansas. She was a member of the Centerville Community Church. Survivors include her husband, Rick of Mound City, Kansas, her father, Eugene Cox of Blue Mound, Kansas, her mother, Connie Cox of Mound City, Kansas; two sons, Derrick Bowman & Rachel of Centerville, Kansas and Blake Bowman of Mound City, Kansas; one daughter, Angela Cummings and Dan of Blue Mound, Kansas; one brother, Kevin Cox of Fulton, Kansas; one sister, Sherri Spencer of Mound City, Kansas; two grandsons, Kade & Koye and her grandfather, Maurice Cox of Mound City, Kansas. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 29, 2006 at the Centerville Community Church, Centerville, Kansas. A visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, Friday at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Mound City, Kansas. Contributions are suggested to a scholarship fund for Blake.
