David Bohlken

October 18, 1949 — February 22, 2015

David L. Bohlken, age 65, formerly of Amoret, Missouri passed away February 22, 2015 at the Saint Luke's South Hospital in Overland Park, KS. David was born October 18, 1949 in Kansas City, Kansas the son of Carl and Ruth Vermillion Bohlken. David was married to Marguerite Schlotzhauer who preceded him in death, to this union two children were born a son, David Jr. and a daughter, Deanna. David was an equipment operator at Wade Quarries in La Cygne, Kansas. On May 28, 1969 he was drafted by the United States Army and was honorably discharged on December 6, 1970. He is survived by his two children, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister. Graveside service will be at 1:30 PM, Friday, March 6, 2015 at the Fort Scott National Cemetery in Fort Scott, Kansas. Online condolences may be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com
