David Biggs

David Wayne Biggs, 67, of Pleasanton, Kansas, died Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Mercy Health Center, Fort Scott, Kansas. He was born May 9, 1941 in Venton, Iowa, the son of Joseph Wayne and Alvera Allshouse Biggs. He married Patricia Kloiber on February 7, 1981 at Grandview, Missouri. He was employed as a maintenance engineer with various hotels and apartments in the metropolitan area. He was a veteran, having served with the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Richard Osburn and two brothers, Dennis & Daryl Biggs. Survivors include his wife, Patricia of Pleasanton,Kansas; three sons, Andy Biggs of Pleasanton, Kansas and Joey and Robert Biggs, both of Michigan; one daughter, Candy Osburn of Kansas City, Missouri; two brothers, Danny Biggs of North Kansas City, Missouri and Donald Biggs of Topeka, Kansas; one sister, Barbara Blankenship of Platte City, Missouri and six grandchildren. Mr. Biggs was cremated. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 3, 2009 at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Pleasanton, Kansas.
