Cleta Jordan

Cleta Marie Herrmann Jordan, age 85 formerly of Mound City, Kansas died Tuesday April 14, 2009 at the Grandview Care Center in Grandview, Missouri. She was born July 8, 1923 in Mapleton, Kansas the daughter of Charles and Rachiel Wunderly Herrmann. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Mound City. She married John Jordan on October 25, 1941 in Mound City, Kansas. He preceded her in death on April 8, 1995; also preceding her in death were two sons: Herbert and Eldon Jordan, nine brothers and one sister. Survivors include a son Bill Jordan and Sherri, of Grandview, Missouri, a daughter Elane Frye and Vurdette of Middleton, Wisconsin; eight grandchildren; numerous great and great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 11 am Saturday April 18, 2009 at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in Mound City, Kansas. Visitation will be held form 6:30 to 8 PM Friday April 17, at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in Mound City, Kansas. Burial will be in the Woodland in Mound City.
