Clara Rogers

Clara Rogers, 87, of Mound City, Kansas, died Sunday, June 20, 2010 at her home. She was born June 13, 1923 in Vermontville, New York, the daughter of Elmer Benton and Grace Eva Cahoon Rogers. Clara graduated from Saranac Lake High School in 1942. She attended college and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology. She worked for a number of years as a private secretary in the radio department of the International Headquarters of the Church of the Nazarene. Clara moved to Mound City, Kansas in 1990. Survivors include a nephew, David Rogers of Sandy, Utah. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 28, 2010 at the United Methodist Church, Mound City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 10:30 until service time at the church. Private family interment at a later date.
