Charles Reynolds

Charles Timothy "Tim" Reynolds, age 68, Fort Scott, Kansas, formerly of Pleasanton, Kansas passed away Wednesday November 21, 2012 at the Olathe Medical Center. Tim was born March 21, 1944 at Camp Wheeler in Macon, Georgia the son of Charles Russell and Georgia Grace Perkins Reynolds. He graduated from DeSoto, Kansas High School and attended Fort Scott Community College on a football scholarship. He served his country in the United States Naval Reserve. Tim was proud of his career with the railroad. It began with the MKT Railroad. He then hired on with the Frisco which merged with Burlington Northern. He retired from Burlington Northern with 27 years of service. He enjoyed collecting and rebuilding antique engines and tractors, which he would operate and display at area parades and tractor shows as a member of the Pioneer Harvest Club. Tim was a member of the Scottish Rite Consistory holding the position of KCCH Knight Commander Court of Honor, the Eureka Masonic Lodge #88 and the Fort Scott Community Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife Cinda, of the home, two daughters, Terri McDonald (Sandy) of Fort Scott, Michele Reynolds of Cedar City, Utah, a son, Rodney Reynolds (Julie) of Fort Scott, a step son Weston Henkle ( Christy) of Grandview, Missouri, his mother Grace Reynolds of DeSoto, Kansas, a twin brother Jim Reynolds (Maxine) of Shawnee, Kansas, numerous grand and great grandchildren and his first wife Carolyn Harper. Memorial Graveside Service will be held 2 PM Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the Pleasanton Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM Tuesday at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel. The family suggests contributions to the Fort Scott Community of Christ Church.
