Chance Randall Parker, 34, of Pleasanton, Kansas, died Sunday, September 9, 2007 at Lake Chaparal. He was born May 16, 1973 at Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Thomas and Deana Parker. Chance was employed as a cook at Austin's Drive-In in Pleasanton. He enjoyed Kansas City Chief's football, Playstation and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his parents, Thomas & Catherine Parker of Mound City, Kansas and Deana and Paul Beltcher of Georgia, his wife, Rose, of the home; one son, Jesse Parker and one daughter, Melissa Parker, (affectionately referred to as "Noodle" and "Pooh", two sisters, Bethanie New of Grandview, Missouri and Amanda Parker of Trenton, Missouri. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 13, 2007 at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Pleasanton, Kansas. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday at the chapel. Contributions are suggested to the Chance Parker Memorial Fund for the children. Interment will be in the Pleasanton Cemetery.
