Catherine Lister

Catherine Josephine "Kitty" Lister, 70, of Mound City, Kansas, died Monday, September 22, 2008 at Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, Kansas. She was born November 17, 1937 in Kildysart, Ireland, the daughter of John and Kathleen Reynolds Moloney. She came to the United States in 1958. She was employed as a bookkeeper with the Oil and Dairy industries. She was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Frank and Joe Moloney and one sister, Martina Ann Moloney. Survivors include one son, Ted Lister Jr. and Julia of Bradenton, Florida; a daughter, Janet Poole and Brian of Blue Mound, Kansas; five sisters, Lelia Schafer, Theresa Tilley, Eileen Stewart, Nora Hanranhan and Sheila Coran; and four grandchildren, Samuel and Jacob Lister and Kayla and Ryan Poole. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 26, 2008 and Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Mound City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, Thursday at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Mound City. Contributions are suggested to the Leukemia & Lymphone Society.
