Carrie Ross

Carrie Aldine Ross, 76, of Gardner, Kansas, formerly of Pleasanton, Kansas, died Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at the Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, Kansas. She was born November 30, 1931 in Pleasanton, Kansas, the daughter of William and Margaret Elkington New. She married James C. Ross on November 2, 1948. He preceded her in death on September 10, 2003. Carrie had worked as a unit secretary with Providence St. Margaret's and Bethany Medical Centers prior to retirement. She was preceded in death also by her parents and one son, James Ross. Survivors include one son, John Ross of Gardner, Kansas and three daughters, Linda Mathis & Jerry of Kansas City, Kansas, Brenda Harris & Bob of Spring Hill, Kansas and Barbara Tillery of Paola, Kansas. Services will be held at 2:30 PM, Saturday, June 21, 2008 at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Pleasanton, Kansas. Visitation will be from 1:30 until service time at the chapel. Contributions are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Interment will be in the Pleasanton Cemetery.
