Carol Boyer

Carol A. Boyer, age 87, Baldwin, Kansas passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015. She was born on November 2, 1927 at Lake Geneva, Wisconsin the daughter of Paul and Mabel Stoughtenberg Alm. During her working career, she was employed as a bookkeeper in several different businesses. Carol was very active in the Lion's Club, Methodist Church and Hope House. She married Larence "Tiny" Boyer on December 6, 1975. He preceded her in death on March 8, 2011. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Howell and Claire Chapman. She is survived by a son, Dwight Sare and wife Kathy, two daughters, Linda Litke and husband Carl and Charlie Higby and husband Dave, a sister, Peggy Cramer, seven grand, eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Following cremation Carol will be inurned at Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the Hope House c/o Schneider Funeral Home, P.O. Box J, Mound City, KS 66056.
