Brett Michael Johnson, age 25, Prescott, Kansas died as the result of a motor vehicle accident Saturday, December 12, 2020. He was born in Fort Scott, Kansas on July 10, 1995 the son of Brandon Johnson and Wendy Streeter. He graduated from Pleasanton High School. Brett was currently employed with Johnson Construction, working with his Dad. He was a member of the Mound City First Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and friends and skate boarding. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Frank Johnson. Brett is survived by his father, Brandon Johnson and Ann, his mother, Wendy Charley and Anthony, eight brothers, Brayden Streeter, Braxton Johnson, Hayden Johnson, Gage Adams, Mason Adams, Jacob Miller, Nate Miller, and Cale Campbell, four sisters, Brytnee Kepley, Hannah Johnson, Abbigail Johnson, Shanise Trent, maternal grandparents, Cindy Earnest(Lester), Andy Streeter(Linda), paternal grandmother Terri Staton(Jeff), paternal great grandmother, Mary Spurgeon, maternal great grandmother, Lois "Jo" Streeter, four nephews, Krew Kepley, Quinton Adams, Dresden"Squishy" Trent, and Sebastian Croan, and two nieces, Mariah Streeter and Ember Adams and his dog, Nina.
Funeral service will be 1 pm Wednesday, December 16 at the Mound City First Baptist Church. Burial in the Pleasanton Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel.
