Bob Bradley, age 77, Roeland Park and Pleasanton, Kansas passed away on Saturday December 28, 2013. He was born on January 9, 1936 at Calhoun, Missouri the son of Ralph Bradley and Frances Houston Bradley. He lived on a farm near Calhoun with his grandparents until he was eight. He then moved to Kansas City, Missouri with his mother and siblings and graduated from East High School. He married Doris Heldenbrand on June 8, 1957 at Tonkawa, Oklahoma. Bob graduated from Kansas City Bible College in 1960 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Bible. He later attended Sterling College graduating in 1965 with a Bachelor of Arts in English, History and Music. Bob enjoyed volunteer ministry in different churches. He was music director at Salsbury Hills Baptist Church, junior high group leader at Centropolis Baptist Church, coached basketball at Nall Avenue Baptist Church, was a founding member of the Quivira Road Baptist Church serving as music director, Sunday school teacher, and building supervisor, and currently a member of the Pleasanton First Christian Church. Bob''s working career included, buyer for Safeway from 1956 to 1979, Bradley Lawn Service 1968 to 1981, Holiday Pools 1982 to 2002, and a partner in Bradley Tax Service for fifty-six years. His hobbies were many: reading, building doll houses, latch hook rugs, collector of Norman Rockwell, working with wood and Koi ponds. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Allen Bradley and his parents. Survivors include his wife Doris of fifty-six years, children: Steve Bradley and wife Darleen of Carrollton, Texas, Kevin Bradley and wife Sudawn of Osawatomie, Kansas, Shellie Bradley of Shawnee, Kansas, Kelly Bradley and wife Denise of Osawatomie, Kansas, siblings Harold Bradley and wife Phyllis of Prescott, Kansas and Sharon Nelson and husband Dennis of Claremore, Oklahoma, grandchildren: Heather Murrell, Elizabeth Bradley Fuller(Dennis) Debbie Bradley Martin(Bret), Ashley Bradley Jacquinot(Jacob), Jake Bradley, Jason Fuqua(Amanda), Abbey Scott, Adam Laden, Katelyn Bradley, Colton Bradley, and Justin Bradley, and great grandchildren, Preston, Sheldon and Carson Martin, and Kate and Kallie Jacquinot, and much extended family and friends. Service will be 11 AM Thursday January 2, 2013 at the Pleasanton First Christian Church. Visitation will be held from 9 AM to 10:30 AM at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel.
