Blanche Gerardine Paul, 84, of LaCygne, Kansas died Tuesday November 13, 2007 at her home in LaCygne. She was born on January 25, 1923 in West Orange, New Jersey the daughter of Raymond J. and Florence Prendergast Brown. She worked as a medical transcriber and secretary. She was married to Charles Paul on January 5, 1946. Blanche and Charles moved from Tom's River, New Jersey to LaCygne in 1990. Charles preceded her in death on April 17, 1998. Also preceding her was a brother Raymond Brown and sister Florence Hanaway. Blanche was a Catholic and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and had a deep devotion to Our Lady of Victory. She is survived by two sons, Charles Paul and wife Nancy of Yardley, Pennsylvania and Raymond "Butch" Paul and wife Laura of LaCygne, Kansas, one brother Edward Brown of Shohola, Pennsylvania and two grandchildren, Matthew Paul and Rachel Pommier and husband Jeff. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Saturday November 17, 2007 at Our Lady of Lourdes of Catholic Church in LaCygne, Kansas. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery in LaCygne. Rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM Friday at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel in LaCygne. Visitation will follow from 7 to 8 PM. The family suggests contributions to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
