Bill Mcclintic

Bill McClintic, 80, of LaCygne, Kansas, died Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at his home. He was born June 28, 1927 in Ottawa, Kansas, the son of William and Esther Rogers McClintic. He married Edith Pearl Eastwood Long on November 19, 1994. Billie was a veteran of WWII, serving with the United States Navy. He was employed as a manager in retail stores and also in banking. He was a member of the LaCygne Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Edith Pearl McClintic of LaCygne, Kansas; two sons; Phillip McClintic & Susan of Lawrence, Kansas and Douglas McClintic & Janet of Providence, Rhode Island; one daughter, Barbara Hutter & Clint of Corinth, Texas; four step children; four grandchildren, Eric, Justin, Katie & Amy; one great grandchild, Braden; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 22, 2007 at the LaCygne Christian Church, LaCygne, Kansas. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 PM, Friday at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, LaCygne. Contributions are suggested to the LaCygne Christian Church. Interment will be in the Fontana Cemetery, Fontana, Kansas.
