Beulah Catherine Miller age 89 of LaCygne, Kansas died Thursday January 7, 2010 at North Point Skilled Nursing Facility in Paola, Kansas. She was born on February 15, 1920 at Canova, South Dakota the daughter of Elsworth T. and Anna Bell Lime Marquis. She attended grade school in the Sunnyridge District and graduated from LaCygne High School in 1938. She married Raymond Miller on February 5, 1942 at the Methodist Parsonage in LaCygne, Kansas. She was a homemaker and a farm wife. She was a 4H leader, and served on the Linn County Extension Unit and the American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband Raymond of LaCygne, one daughter Joyce Stainbrook and Terry of LaCygne, a brother Wayne Marquis of LaCygne, a sister Elsie Cree of Paola, Kansas, two grand children Scott Stainbrook and Heather, and Tara Allen and Chad, and four great grandchildren, Brooke, Kate, and Bree Allen and Benton Stainbrook. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday January 10, 2010 at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in LaCgyne, Kansas. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery at LaCygne. Visitation will be held from 1 PM until service time at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the International Rett Syndrome Foundation(IRSF) or the LaCygne United Methodist Church.
