Betty Gladfelder

Betty Ann Gladfelder age 74, of Centerville, Kansas died Friday August 26, 2011 at her home. She was born on August 27, 1936 at Atchison, Kansas the daughter of Ralph and Dorothy Armstrong Barry. Betty was a graduate of Wyandotte High School. She married Tom Moss and to this union five children were born. She was employed by TWA and the Wyandotte County Sheriff's Department. Betty was a member of the Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Fort Scott, Kansas, the S.E.K. Humane Society, was a cat lover, and loved her kids. She is survived by three sons; Jeff Moss of Tonganoxie, Kansas, Tom Moss, of Mission, Kansas, and Mike Moss of Olathe, Kansas, two daughters; Vicki Nichols of Olathe, Kansas, and Sheri Felix of Centerville, Kansas, a sister Maxine Henson of Cross Timbers, Missouri, 12 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday August 30, 2011 at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Mound City, Kansas. The family suggests contributions to the Betty Gladfelder Memorial Fund.
