Betty Burrous

Betty A. Burrous, age 81 of Amsterdam, Missouri died Sunday December 17, 2006 at the Adrian Manor. She was born August 25, 1925 at Noel, Missouri the daughter of William D. and Monte M. McDonald Keim. Betty worked as a waitress and most recently as a Tupperware dealer. She married Robert Burrous on July 21, 1945. He preceded her in death on August 6, 1998. She is survived by two sons Jess Raymond Burrous and Sheila of Amsterdam and David Lee Burrous and Deborah of DeSoto, Kansas; three daughters: Mary Ann McCaine and Robert of Noel, Missouri, Linda Jean McKinney and Dwight of Locust Grove, Oklahoma and Betty Elnora Hocker of Amsterdam; numerous grand and great grandchildren and one on the way. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday December 20 at the West Point Cemetery near Amsterdam. No formal visitation. Betty will lie in state Tuesday December 19 at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in LaCygne, Kansas. The family suggests contributions to the Betty Burrous Memorial Fund.
