BERNIECE JENNINGS Berniece Jennings, 90, of Pleasanton, Kansas, died Thursday, March 23, 2006 at Fort Scott Manor Nursing Home, Fort Scott, Kansas. She was born May 11, 1915 in Pleasanton, Kansas, the daughter of Osroe and Cora Seright Henderson. She married E.W. "Bill" Jennings on January 30, 1932 at the Mound City Courthouse. He preceded her in death on August 31, 1994. Bernice worked for Braemoors in Pleasanton during her employment years. She attended the Methodist Church and was active with the Linn County Senior Citizens. Bernice was preceded in death by an infant son, Don Richard Jennings and two sister, Wilda Belle Bartlett and Lorine Jennings. Survivors include two sons, Jerry Jennings & wife, Barbara of Rich Hill, Missouri and Dick Jennings & wife, Jane of Foster, Missouri; one daughter, Cora Tillery & husband, Ray of Nevada, Missouri; one sister, Reba Ayers of Mound City, Kansas; five grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at the Pleasanton Cemetery, Pleasanton, Kansas. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Pleasanton. Contributions are suggested to the Pleasanton Residencies Activity Fund.
