Arthur Keller "Kay" Williamson, 85, of Mound City, Kansas, died Thursday, April 5, 2007 at his home. He was born November 14, 1921 in Mulberry, Kansas, the son of Arthur George and Mary Frances Brown Williamson. He married Vera Irwin on September 1, 1946 at Mound City, Kansas. He served his country during World War II with the 6th Defense Battalion of the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and the American Legion Hewitt-New Post of Mound City, Kansas; the Elks of Osawatomie, Kansas; and theVFW of Fort Scott, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Wayne & Paul. Survivors include his wife, Vera of the home; two sons, David Williamson of Wichita, Kansas and John Williamson of Prescott, Kansas; one daughter, Mary Partridge of Olathe, Kansas; one brother, William R. Williamson of Livingston, Texas; one sister, Dorris Rouse of Grant Park, Illinois; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 7, 2007 at the United Methodist Church, Mound City, Kansas; Visitation will be from 6-7:30 PM, Friday at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Mound City. Contributions are suggested to the United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery, Mound City. Arrangements: Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home, Mound City, Kansas.
