Arlene Ramsey

Arlene Ramsey, age 68, of LaCygne, Kansas died Sunday November 30, 2008 at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kansas. She was born February 21, 1940 at Garnett, Kansas the daughter of Gerald and Nina Pugsley Hodgson. She graduated from Kincaid High School in 1958 and attended Wichita Business College. She married Daryl Ramsey on May 24, 1959 at Kincaid. Arlene worked at many different things, including: farming, insurance industry, in the nursery at a hospital. Most importantly, she was a mother and wife. She was a member of the LaCygne United Methodist Church where she was involved in overseeing the food pantry and harvester program. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Hodgson. She is survived by her mother, Nina Hodgson of Mound City, Kansas, her husband, Daryl of the home, four sons: Dennis Ramsey and Becky of Boise, Idaho, David Ramsey of Olathe, Kansas, Darren Ramsey and Julie of Osawatomie, Kansas and Delbert Ramsey and Helen of Carbondale, Kansas; one brother, Gerald Lee Hodgson and Marie of Bonner Springs, Kansas, nine grandchildren and two great grand daughters. Memorial funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday December 8, 2008 at the LaCygne United Methodist Church.
