Archie Lee Dean, 79, of Mound City, Kansas passed away on June 22, 2012 at the V.A. Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. He was born on April 4, 1933 to Wybert and Ruth (Cordray) Dean at Brookfield, MO. Archie worked as a carpenter, plumber and electrician. Archie is survived by his loving spouse Betty, step son - Michael Schasteen; 2 step daughters - Cheryl Guilfoyle, Teri Campbell; sister - Beverly Ireland . He was preceded in death by brother, Charles Dean, sister, Ruby, father, Wybert Dean, mother, Ruth Agnes Dean. Visitation will be held Monday, June 25, 2012 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Schneider Funeral Homes & Crematory, Mound City Chapel. Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, 1:00 pm at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Brookfield, Missouri. Memorials are suggested to the charity of choice.
