Anna Carpenter

Anna Louise Carpenter of Wichita, Kansas died at the Westview Manor of Derby, Kansas November 9, 2009. She had been in failing health for sometime. She was born September 4, 1923, a daughter of Charles Andrew Blake and Sarah Elizabeth (Beasley) Blake. She was raised and educated in Parsons, Kansas. Louise and Charles E. Carpenter were married June 3, 1954. Both worked for Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas, Roswell, New Mexico, and Media, Pennsylvania. After retirement they returned to Wichita, Kansas. Louise and Charlie were baptized in Pleasanton, Kansas at the Methodist Church by Rev. Peng. Survivors include, one sister, Harriet Ballew and Bob of Garland, Texas, a step daughter, Vivian Driskill of Girard, Kansas and three grandchildren, Nancy Dorsey and Larry of Parsons, Kansas, Carla Bryan and Harold of Girard, Kansas, Michael Driskell and Jennifer of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Great grand children, Stephanie Dorsey- Warren & Mark, Samantha Driskell,Catherine Driskill And numerous relatives and friends. Memorial Services were held 10:00 a.m. November 16, 2009 at the Cochran Mortuary, Wichita, Kansas. Arrangements were for cremation. Burial at the Riverview cemetery, near LaCygne, Kansas by Coffel Schneider Funeral Home. No services per Louise's request
