Albert Tibbetts

Albert LeRoy Tibbetts, 84, of LaCygne, Kansas, died June 30,2010 at Life Care Center, Osawatomie, Kansas. He was born February 28, 1926 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Earnest & Gadys Lightner. On December 31, 1944, he married Peggy Whitworth at Kansas City, Kansas. She preceded him on February 3, 1996. He was employed as a welder with Progressive Manufacturing. He enjoyed camping and fishing and maintaining his yard. He was preceded in death also by his parents; two sons, David and Jack Tibbetts; one brother, Jack Lightner and one granddaughter, Lisa Tibbetts. Survivors include one son; Richard Tibbetts and Nancy, of Kansas City, Kansas; one daughter, Nancy Canarsky & Gary of LaCygne, Kansas; one brother, Bill Gorman of Monett, Missouri; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorial Graveside Services will be held at 12:30 PM Saturday July 17, 2010 at the Oak Lawn Cemetery LaCygne, Kansas. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home LaCygne, Kansas. The Family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association.
