Wandalou Esther Journagan, age 82, formerly of Meade, Kansas passed away at her home in Pleasanton, Kansas on Saturday, September 10, 2022. She was born the daughter of Charles and Ethel Taggart Rogers on October 27, 1939 at Manhattan, Kansas. Wandalou worked many years at the Meade County Kansas Treasurer’s Office. Wandalou loved crocheting, music of all kinds, playing the piano and the organ and most of all she enjoyed reading her Bible as her faith was her number one priority. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant son, Steven Reiss, two brothers, Charles and Ralph Rogers and a sister, Linda Rogers. Wandalou is survived by her three sons, Leonard Reiss (Jannita), Clark Journagan and David Journagan (Louise), daughter, Kameo Ogden (Tanner), several grandchildren and great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, September 23, 2022 at the Emmanuel Mennonite Church 415 East Green Street Meade, KS 67864. Interment will take place in the Graceland Cemetery at Meade, Kansas.
