Jeannie was and always will be my best friend. We met when we were just teenagers at Prairie View High School. We had a lot of fun and got into scrapes during those years. I have lived in Phoenix, AZ since my 20’s. We had times when we would lose touch with each other but always managed to reconnect. I was just in Kansas for a visit two weeks ago. I got to see Jeannie twice while I was there and I’m so grateful for that time with her. I will miss her for the rest of my life and think of her often. I’m sorry for all the people who loved her and are grieving at this time. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I will never have another person in my life like Jeannie.

I've known Jeannie since high school. She use to be my neighbor when her family lived at Allendale camp. I was reconnected with her when she started working with me and John at the La Cygne power plant. I have so many memories of her and the pranks she pulled on me. I will miss her deeply. My heart goes out to the family.
