Uncle Jack means a lot to my sister Jacqueline C Russell, our mom Ivis C Hefflefinger and myself. He always seemed like a gruff and grumpy old man but in reality he was a huggable teddy bear. We will always love and cherish him. But now he will be at peace and reunited with Aunt Bethie. Good bye Uncle Jack

We make this donation in memory of a loving uncle. Uncle Jack was and will always be near and dear to our hearts. He was a devoted father to his children and grandchildren. Uncle Jack could put forth the image as being grumpy and gruff but was a huggable teddy bear. We loved him very much and he will be greatly missed.

My sinceriest sympathy to Jack's family. Jack and I lived but a stones throw away from each other for 5 years. He was quite a character. He would tell stories and laugh and joke and would have me in stitches laughing. Jack and I were both opinionated and we would sit outside every spring and summer and visit at times bantering over our opinions. But we would always end with an I'm sorry and a hand shake. If I ever needed anything Jack was always there to help. I counted Jack as one of my good friends. He will be missed greatly by our small community here in Mound City at the housing. Jack, I will not forget you... love you buddy!

Jack was one of the best neighbors anyone could wish for. Every time we would be at the lake we would hope to run across Jack. But he was one the busiest retired guys I’d ever met. Always doing something somewhere. Helping a neighbor or just out telling stories. I will miss our time sitting on the porch just talking. Thoughts and prayers to all that loved and knew him.
